Singapore University of Technology and Design 360 Virtual Tour
This 360 virtual tour covers the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) campus through 37 scenes across its academic, research, fabrication, residential and recreation facilities. The tour opens with aerial 360 photography and uses section-based navigation to organise the campus by area.
The project was created in 2021 and expanded in 2026 with new scenes, guided audio and updated campus information. Students and staff were photographed within selected spaces to show how the classrooms, laboratories and recreation facilities are used.
SUTD provides undergraduate, graduate and continuing education across design, engineering, architecture, artificial intelligence and related technology fields. Its campus includes academic, research, fabrication, residential, sports and recreation facilities.
Standard or Guided Audio Entry
The opening screen allows viewers to enter the standard virtual tour or select the guided audio tour. The guided option adds recorded narration while retaining the same scene navigation and interface.
Aerial 360 Campus Overview
Two aerial 360 panoramas provide an overview of the SUTD campus and direct access to key areas. Navigation hotspots connect the aerial views to campus, hostel, sports and recreation, and traditional Chinese structures.
Campus Navigation and Scene Information
The navigation menu groups the tour into aerial views, campus, library, fabrication lab, Future Communications R&D Programme, hostel, sports and recreation, and traditional Chinese structures. Each section uses a separate colour, while the information panel records details about the current location.
Embedded Video
Interactive hotspots can open video within a panorama. This allows research demonstrations and other supporting media to be viewed without leaving the virtual tour.
Information Hotspots
Information hotspots can display additional images and text within a scene. They are used to add context about facilities, programmes and activities without moving to a different panorama.
