Architectural and Interior photography project for Treetop Executive Residences in Singapore. Commercial photography project to update the image catalog for their eco-friendly serviced apartments. Treetops Executive Residences offers luxurious serviced apartments surrounded by lush greenery and each apartment is fitted with high efficiency air filtration systems to ensure optimal air quality.

The hotel lobby was an very important shot for the client. I especially enjoy interior and architectural photography in the hotel’s lobby. It is the first thing the client sees when they walk into the hotel and it can be an image that defines the hotel for marketing purposes. The main lobby photography was actually taken before sunrise when the dominant lighting was tungsten. I then lit the interior of the image with 20 flash exposures and waited until sunrise. I then blended the daylight balanced greenery back into the interior of the hotel lobby. The result is that the photography of the hotel interior looks as if it were captured with natural morning light.

The goal of the architectural and interior photography for these serviced apartments was to find a balance between hospitality photography and interior design photography. The trend right now in hospitality photography for hotels is only to include items in the room that are there when the guest arrives.

Treetop Executive Residences has 220 unities of one to three bedroom suites. The provide an eco-luxurious environment for a refreshing resort style home away from home experience. They are located on Orange Grove Road which is minutes away from Orchard Road which is the heart of Singapore’s shopping district.
